Have A Loved One With Bipolar Who Won’t Get Help or Treatment?

Hi,

If you have a loved one who is unstable, not well and refuses treatment or says he/she doesn’t need help, then you must take a look at this new resource I have been working on for a long time.

You can see it here:

If your loved one is not stable and needs treatment, it’s very important that you help him/her before something bad happens.

This resource will help.

If you need it, take a look.

Talk to you tomorrow morning.

  1. Regarding getting help when your loved one really needs it but refuses to see it –
WHEN EVERYTHING CHANGES – CHANGE EVERYTHING!
Historically I have often been goeded into the aggressive stage with my husband argueing how much he needs help. This last time only last weekend I changed everything. I stepped back, involved a friend of his for help and detached myself from the situation. Finally for me, I’ve realised as I withdraw he eventually will come to me, ready to talk. Instead of argueing I used the mirror technique of stating back exactly what he had said, asking if I had it correctly.
It was still a tough week, but by the end of it, I came out relatively unscathed and he had begun to realise for himself he needed help. Yes he’s on meds but had cancelled the therapist and Psychiatrists appt which he has now rebooked.
The last time we had a episode prior to this in February, it had culminated in police intervention, a trip to Psych emergency and hospitalisation.
Just a suggestion – No guarantees I’m afraid
