I have been following the British soap “East Enders” for many years. While there are many entertaining storylines, which are not true to life (some are way out). eg. Everyone so easily gets a job in the local shop or the pub without any experience – that just doesn’t happen in real life. However, I am impressed with the recent “bipolar storyline,” which is very realistic. As the article suggests it could help to decrease the stigma of mental illness. It’s a pity though that the soap is only shown in the British Isles.
