first of all, i would love to purchase one of your courses, but, as u already know, people with bi-polar cannot afford them. i am beginning ot have problems with my insurance co, not covering my therapy visits, and dont know what to do.
My ex-husband is Bi-polar. We have been divorced for 1 yr. He left me for a girl our sons age.Then he wanted to come back home,after I got the divorce.He tryed to commit sucicide and was hospitialized and diagnosed as Bi-polar,ADHD,Dyslexia,and has a violent personality when he drinks. For 26 yrs. I did not know what was wrong. He would go on drinking binges and stay with another woman ,then come back. But I always loved him and tryed to be a good wife. He still calls me weekly to tell me how much he loves me and never wants anyone else.Last night he called and ask me to bring him a pack of cigarettes this morning because he only had 3 left.He had been drinking. I guess he forgot about calling me because I walked in with them this morning at his house and he was in bed with a woman. I acted like nothing was wrong and he fell apart because I had seen it. I have always wanted to help him but he will not let me. It’s one lie after another.
hi carolyn. does your ex husband have a good therapist , along with a great psychiatrist? why is he drinking, after being hospitalized? arent they following up? or, shoul di say, isn’t he following instructions? it must be awful for you to see this, and, actually be involved. if you are divorced, you are not responsible for what he does, or, bringing him cigs. if he wants a relationship with his children, he must get help, and stick to it. he is no longer your responsibility.

Hi David,
My 18 year old daughter’s neurologist says she is bipolar II soft; her psychiatrist says she is borderline. Both agreed five years ago she has ADD, anxiety and “profound” executive dysfunction. Any suggestions on where to go to get a definitive diagnosis (BP vs BPD)? She has a severe lack of self, few boundaries if any, and gets absorbed into the group mentality. She has never had any rage, is a pleaser, very smart and creative and trying to find her way back to college and the life she thought she’d be living before she tanked in her freshman year of college. I have a suggestion for you that you might want to consider in order to provide a better service to your dedicated pupils, and to gain better sales with your information and training packages; maybe try breaking up the payments into multiple payment plans. I understand why you do not implement payments plans, as you may think that you will not receive all of your money. Afterall, most people with bipolar or those who support someone with bipolar are experiencing financial troubles. I understand that you have put a great deal of time, effort, and money into this work and you are offering the information at an amazing rate, however, most of us can not just come up with $100.00 to even purchase the smallest package of information from you. There has got to be another way to make this information available to your viewers at a cost that is affordable. If you would break up the payments into multiple payment plans, I would definitly purchase the Master package. There is no way I can afford even the first $99.00 at this point, or anytime soon for that matter. Even though I am extremely desperate for the information, I am not willing to take money away from my bills or food from my four children’s mouths in order to purchase the package. This is a very serious illness that we are all dealing with and we desperately need help, there has to some solution to this. We need all the help we can get, and going further into debt is not going to make life easier for us.
