  1. In response to article 523. Dave!!!!!!!are you o.k you sound a little upset. Your talking about Bipolar Patient’s as if all are responiable individuals. Altough we should be! It take’s pratice for many. It took me some year’s; but I ‘ve; by the grace of God gained complete controle. But every bipolar suffering person’s. May not be so Blessed. So let’s remember that; and not loose patence. P.S I know your not a mental medical professonal;because you would’nt have time for this Newa Letter (smile!!!). Be Blessed David It’s just a little humor.

  2. although I could’nt access the articles from this email, I do have some thoughts on the risk factors for bipolar people and violence. like many people who are violated by the ones who should have loved them, people with bipolar disorder are no different, but they are worse because they have a tougher time processing things in their mixed up brains. not all people with bipolar disorder are violent. The ones who are were most likely abused as children, and they don’t know how to process the right or wrong of it. They simply repeat what was done to them. I have met many people with bipolar disorder, and mostly I would say that they just don’t seem to be all there, like something is missing. Like they will be talking to you, but it looks like they are talking to the air or the wall or something in their delusions. Even when they are violent, it’s like they are trying to kill or destroy something that isn’t even there. They will just strike out at anyone in their reach when they feel like being violent.

  3. I particularly enjoy the Students “destigmatize” mental illness article – WONDER WHY WE ARE ALL SMILING NOW
