Distractions Can Cause This"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,<\/p>\n<p>I hope you&#8217;re having a good day today.<\/p>\n<p>Did you have a goal when you were younger?<\/p>\n<p>Maybe it was a small goal \u2013<\/p>\n<p>Like you wanted to win the school<br \/>\nspelling bee or something.<\/p>\n<p>Or you wanted to save up enough money<br \/>\nto buy something special for yourself.<\/p>\n<p>Or maybe it was a big goal \u2013<\/p>\n<p>Maybe you wanted to go to college.<\/p>\n<p>Or someday wanted to get married<br \/>\nand have a family.<\/p>\n<p>Or wanted to have a good career.<\/p>\n<p>But the point is, we all had goals when<br \/>\nwe were younger.<\/p>\n<p>Some of us met those goals.<\/p>\n<p>But others of us met with distractions<br \/>\nalong the way toward meeting our goals.<\/p>\n<p>And distractions can cause a<br \/>\ndisruption in our lives \u2013<\/p>\n<p>A disruption in the meeting of our<br \/>\ngoals \u2013<\/p>\n<p>And, when it comes to bipolar disorder\u2026<\/p>\n<p>A disruption in stability.<\/p>\n<p>And that&#8217;s NOT a good thing!<\/p>\n<p>Here&#8217;s what I&#8217;m talking about:<\/p>\n<p>One of the things I recommend in my<br \/>\ncourses\/systems is to have a routine:<\/p>\n<p>                           NEW<br \/>\nLEARN THE SECRETS OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL WITH<br \/>\nBIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/bipolarmastersystem\/\">http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/bipolarmastersystem\/<\/a><\/p>\n<p>SUPPORTING AN ADULT WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\nVisit:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11\">http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11<\/a><\/p>\n<p>SUPPORTING A CHILD\/TEEN WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\nVisit:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com\">http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>HAVE BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\nVisit:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net\">http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net<\/a><\/p>\n<p>There are several reasons for having a<br \/>\nset routine as part of the management<br \/>\nof your bipolar disorder:<\/p>\n<p>1.\tHelps you to remember to<br \/>\ntake your medication<\/p>\n<p>2.\tHelps you to keep a good sleep<br \/>\nschedule<\/p>\n<p>3.\tHelps you to stick to a healthy<br \/>\ndiet by eating meals at the same<br \/>\ntime every day<\/p>\n<p>4.\tGives you structure to your day<\/p>\n<p>5.\tHelps you to stay productive<\/p>\n<p>6.\tGives you a sense of accomplishment<br \/>\nat the end of the day.<\/p>\n<p>Now, as part of your routine you will, of<br \/>\ncourse, go to any appointments you have<br \/>\non a given day.<\/p>\n<p>But if you have any distractions, they may<br \/>\nkeep you from that appointment, and that<br \/>\ncan disrupt the management of your bipolar<br \/>\ndisorder, and even be dangerous for you!<\/p>\n<p>For example, what if that appointment was<br \/>\nwith your psychiatrist, who prescribes<br \/>\nyour pills, and what if you have to reschedule,<br \/>\nbut they don&#8217;t have another appointment<br \/>\nuntil next month?  <\/p>\n<p>Then, what if you run out of pills?<br \/>\nYou&#8217;re going to have to make special<br \/>\narrangements, aren&#8217;t you?  Then your<br \/>\nwhole medication schedule is going<br \/>\nto be off.<\/p>\n<p>What if you&#8217;re distracted and have to<br \/>\nmiss your appointment with your therapist?<br \/>\nYou will then have to wait another week<br \/>\nor, if you go every two weeks, why, now<br \/>\nyou&#8217;ll have to wait a whole MONTH<br \/>\nbefore seeing your therapist again!<br \/>\nAnd a lot can happen within a month!<\/p>\n<p>If you have bipolar disorder, you just<br \/>\ncannot afford distractions!<\/p>\n<p>Distractions can mean the difference<br \/>\nbetween stability and instability for<br \/>\nsomeone who has bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n<p>Just like when we were younger and we<br \/>\nset goals for ourselves, so does the person<br \/>\nwho is trying to get stable.<\/p>\n<p>You should set short- and long-term goals<br \/>\nas well, as that would help you to be<br \/>\nproductive, and not idle, which isn&#8217;t good<br \/>\nfor your disorder.<\/p>\n<p>But if you&#8217;re distracted, you won&#8217;t meet<br \/>\nyour goals.<\/p>\n<p>Then you might not be productive, which<br \/>\ncan lead to depression, which can lead<br \/>\nto a bipolar depressive episode.<\/p>\n<p>No, you need to keep your mind on the goal.<\/p>\n<p>And the goal is stability.<\/p>\n<p>Keep that in mind, and don&#8217;t let anything<br \/>\ndistract you!<\/p>\n<p>Know what I mean?<\/p>\n<p>FIND OUT WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT ME<br \/>\nVisit: <a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarcentral.com\/testimonials\">http:\/\/www.bipolarcentral.com\/testimonials<\/a><\/p>\n<p>Well, I have to go!<\/p>\n<p>Your Friend,<\/p>\n<p>Dave<\/p>\n<p>===>> Great Resources For You <===\n\nGet Your Own Subscription To This Newsletter\nWant your own copy of these daily bipolar\nemails sent to you for F.ree?
