It’s Sunday morning and I am getting ready to take off for the check.
Before I go, I have to tell you about a really sad story that I heard.<\/p>\n
Yesterday I got a call from someone who wanted to get my course. She
had some questions.<\/p>\n
I took her call and she was telling me how her son has bipolar disorder
and how hard it’s been. Then she told me that he had completely
wiped her retirement savings. She had spent $350,000 of her $400,000
of savings she had earned over 40 years or so. Now she is disabled
has PTSD (she feels from her son’s bipolar disorder).<\/p>\n
BUT, she is a tough woman who will survive. I have confidence in
her. She has the right attitude. Many people I speak to have the
wrong attitude but not her.<\/p>\n
Listening to her made me really sad. I felt so bad for her. Because
she is older, it’s going to be more difficult to replace the
retirement savings she lost. But she has an excellent plan

When I first setup up my site, people saw that and thought I was
crazy.<\/p>\n
People would write stuff like:<\/p>\n
“What the heck is wrong with you, why do you have audio about m.o.n.e.y…
take me off your list, you have no clue”<\/p>\n
or<\/p>\n
“I just saw an article about how to pay o.f.f d.e.b.t, I thought
this site was about bipolar disorder. Remove ME NOW!!!!!!!”<\/p>\n
Things like that. I would remove the people and knew
they were going to be in trouble.<\/p>\n
If you don’t know this already, I have some REALLY REALLY REALLY bad
news for you. If you have any money and you are supporting someone with
bipolar disorder and you don’t have a protection system you are at
risk for losing most of it.<\/p>\n
Now before I get hate mail telling me that’s not true and it’s not fair
that I say this about people with bipolar disorder, do your research.<\/p>\n
I have so many stories in my head of people who have been financially
wiped out from bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n
-The man from California, self made millionaire, dated a girl with
bipolar disorder, within one year was broke, lost his house<\/p>\n
-Woman from Colorado, son had bipolar disorder, she has spent $400,000
on him over 10 years.<\/p>\n
-Woman from Atlanta, told me she has not lost a dime from bipolar disorder
and her son, I challenged her to recheck the figures. Came back, discovered
losses totaling $75,000 over 5 years.<\/p>\n
-I lost $250,000 myself over like 6 or 7 years. My dad has lost a fortune.<\/p>\n
-The lady I spoke to yesterday.<\/p>\n
I could go on and on but I hope you are getting the point.<\/p>\n
I don’t tell you stuff in these emails to give you a hard time but rather
to inform you. I tell you the stuff that nobody else will tell you or
talk about. Go to a bookstore, look at books related to bipolar disorder
and they NEVER talk about the stuff I do. Like m.o.n.e.y.
I have no idea why? It’s dumb.<\/p>\n
If you are new to my list, you might be wondering how can people
lose so much money. Is it from treatment? Well let me give you just
a few ways but this isn’t all of them.<\/p>\n
-From treatment<\/p>\n
-From legal fees<\/p>\n
-From fraud (i.e., someone with bipolar disorder takes your social security
and name and signs up to buy stuff that costs a ton, stuff like mortgages,
boats, planes, cars, diamonds, etc)<\/p>\n
-From simple massive waste (in my mom’s episode, she used a c.r.e.d.i.t
card and was buying about $1500 a month for about 12 months in
groceries before I figured it out).<\/p>\n
-From massive interest and late fees. My mom fell behind on payments and was
paying 29% i.n.t.e.r.e.s.t on her cards and late fees every month. This
went on for two years before I caught it.<\/p>\n
-Buying presents for friends or family members. My mom gave most of her
retirement funds away to another family member. Why the family member
took it and didn’t give it back, well that’s another story.<\/p>\n
-Being manipulated and paying people’s bills instead of their own while
they are in an episode. I heard of one lady that was dating someone that
did NOT have bipolar disorder. He knew she did. He manipulated her into
paying about $35,000 towards all sorts of his bills.<\/p>\n
This is just a short list. I have heard so many stories it’s hard to
believe. When I tell people about my mom and the grocery bill, people
think I am lying. I actually thought I was lying to myself or maybe
misreading what I was seeing.<\/p>\n
I couldn’t believe it happen to our
family. I have all the proof and I use to get my friend to look
at it to make sure I was reading the numbers correctly and totally
them right. Every time he was like “Dave, sorry bro, it’s all true.”<\/p>\n
When I first was called by my dad to help out with my mom. I
went over and went into my mom’s room. She had and you are going
to think I am lying and making this up but 5 feet (FIVE) in
diameter, 2 inches high of bills on the floor. I am not kidding.<\/p>\n
When I finally got her into treatment. On the first day I have some peace,
it took me 9 straight hours to organize her bills. There were pages
and pages and pages of bills I found. I am not kidding.
Dead serious.<\/p>\n
You really need advanced systems to protect your money. Now if
you have bipolar disorder, I am not attacking you. My mom knows
all this stuff now. She told me to write you this email today because
she knows how bad it can get if you have bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n
She has an iron clad protection system now. If she went into another
huge super episode my money and her money would be 100% protected.
Period. I invented the system to withstand the worst possible
episode.<\/p>\n
But, the sad part is, once you lose your entire life savings like the
woman from Texas and dozens of other people I know, it’s really
hard to build up your savings again.<\/p>\n
I personally believe that s.t.a.r.ting a h.o.m.e business is the
way to go. There’s no faster way. That’s why I put together

People get all mad at me because I have a course on making
m.o.n.e.y from home. They think I am running some scam.<\/p>\n
When I get emails like this, I am thinking “man you have no
clue.”<\/p>\n
There have been people that I have spoken to during my
f.r.e.e consultations for non medical and non legal questions and
I kept saying go through my stuff on money. They were like
“Sure Dave.” They didn’t. They got wiped out and called me
months later and were broke and felt dumb.<\/p>\n
I am not kidding. This is serious stuff.<\/p>\n
But back to the woman from Texas.<\/p>\n
Actually the woman from Texas has started a business online
that is doing well I am really happy for her. She has the perfect
business. Something from home. Something that has very low overhead.
Something a disabled person can do. Something that has high profit
margins.<\/p>\n
Her business model, which she came up on her own (I had
no involvement in her idea), can make a ton of money a year. I can
see $100,000 a year with the right marketing.<\/p>\n
But there’s a lot of options for everyone. Her business is
perfect for her. But for me it would not be.<\/p>\n
