So many things came up today<br \/>so I haven&#8217;t had a chance to write. Plus it snowed<br \/>AGAIN today so I had to shovel.<\/p>\n<p>Anyway, I just had to tell you this story REALL quick.<\/p>\n<p>I seriously have to keep it short today \ud83d\ude42<\/p>\n<p>Yesterday someone how a woman got my cell phone<br \/>and called me at like 5:45am. I am not a big fan of<br \/>conversation in the morning but I listened half<br \/>asleep :).<\/p>\n<p>She said she need 5 minutes and that she had<br \/>got my course at:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11\">http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11<\/a><br \/>and was using the f.r.e.e question certificate<br \/>(note: for non medical and non legal questions).<\/p>\n<p>She said she wanted to have a baby but her husband<br \/>had bipolar and she was afraid the baby would<br \/>get it.<\/p>\n<p>She wanted to know if I, David Oliver, would have<br \/>a child if there is a risk of my kid having bipolar<br \/>disorder.<\/p>\n<p>I told her absolutely I would. I am not genetic expert<br \/>but there is a risk that my kid or kids could inherit<br \/>bipolar disorder. I am not worried one bit however. Not<br \/>one bit. Why? Am I crazy? No.<\/p>\n<p>As far as I am concerned bipolar disorder is manageable.<br \/>The people who have problems, generally do NOT follow<br \/>a system to manage it. They wing it. They don&#8217;t:<\/p>\n<p>have a doctor or go regularly<br \/>don&#8217;t follow a proper treatment plan<br \/>don&#8217;t take medication at all or regularly<br \/>and many other things I talk about in my<br \/>course at <a href=\"http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net\/\">http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net<\/a><\/p>\n<p>The course for people with bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n<p>NOW, before I get a bunch of emails telling me &#8220;Dave<br \/>that&#8217;s not true. I have tried everything and it doesn&#8217;t<br \/>work&#8221;, I have found bipolar disorder is manageable. Whenever<br \/>I start asking questions and do my investigation into the last<br \/>episodes as I teach in my courses, I find people are not following<br \/>a good system. I have found that huge gigantic, life destroying<br \/>episodes are less about random chance and are more in a person&#8217;s<br \/>control.<\/p>\n<p>I have 8 people who work for<br \/>me and I can see what works and what doesn&#8217;t work.<\/p>\n<p>And no, I am not saying I know everything there is about<br \/>bipolar disorder but I am telling you, I believe one should<br \/>not fear a person with bipolar disorder or fear having a child<br \/>because of bipolar disorder. Again this is my opinion.<\/p>\n<p>And it&#8217;s my email list so I can say what I want :).<\/p>\n<p>With that said, I do want to have kids and I am not worried<br \/>about bipolar disorder. But I can not tell you what to do.<\/p>\n<p>If you don&#8217;t want to have kids for fear of bipolar disorder,<br \/>that&#8217;s up to you.
