How\u2019s it going?<\/p>\n

Hey I have to leave super early in the morning so
I had to send this tonight for tomorrow morning.<\/p>\n

I was thinking about something today related
to bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n

Oh before I tell you that, I have something
funny. If you read my blog, there is a person
that wrote she basically was \u201cappalled
at me.\u201d because of a daily email I wrote
about a lady Carol who wrote me a comment.<\/p>\n

If you missed this email, check my blog below
to read it.<\/p>\n

If you saw that, what the person who wrote doesn\u2019t
understand is Carol and I have had a whole lot
of email conversations and she admitted to me
that she is not creating a bipolar friendly
environment for her loved one.<\/p>\n

Anyway, everyone who has bipolar disorder
who works for me read this woman\u2019s comments.
Even one of my programmers who is from Russia.<\/p>\n

He wrote something funny. He said, \u201cDavid, why
you let someone write bad things about you
on your own site. In my country you can\u2019t write
bad things about someone on his property?\u201d<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know why but that was so funny. I guess
it\u2019s called Freedom of speech. I was kind of
shocked the person was all mad at me. No one else
was and I didn\u2019t get any hate mail or death
threats like I do sometimes. Strange.<\/p>\n

Okay on today\u2019s topic which I have
talked about before.<\/p>\n

I have several people who work for me who have
bipolar disorder, and I always brag about them,
about how you would never know that they
have the disorder, unless they told you.<\/p>\n

Of course, I live in New Jersey, and they
live in other places, all over the map. But I
was wondering about what they look like in
person. I mean, not their looks, but whether
in person, that you can or can\u2019t tell that they
have bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n

So that made me think about you and your
loved ones. If there\u2019s almost 11 million people
with bipolar disorder, chances are you know
more than just your loved one with the
disorder. Can you tell or can you NOT tell
just by looking, if someone has bipolar disorder
or not?<\/p>\n

Interesting question, don\u2019t you think?<\/p>\n

See, what made me think about it, too, was
the many emails I\u2019ve gotten from people like
you, asking me about whether \u201cit\u201d is the
bipolar or the loved one, and about whether
they are \u201cfaking\u201d it or not. That\u2019s been a real
big issue, according to the emails and calls
I\u2019ve gotten.<\/p>\n

So I give it to you. What do you think?
What has been your experience? Can you
tell just by looking, if your loved one
has bipolar disorder or not? If so, what
is it about their behavior that gives them
away?<\/p>\n

For those of you who can\u2019t tell, what is
it about your loved one\u2019s behavior
that is different, that doesn\u2019t give them
away?<\/p>\n

I talk about what makes a person stable versus
unstable. Stable people do NOT look like
they have bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s really strange but so many people
write me and say they just want to be
stable but they never do half the things
that lead to stability.<\/p>\n

Even bipolar supporters don\u2019t even promote
things that lead to stability.<\/p>\n

It confuses me.<\/p>\n

I want to know what you think. What do
you think creates stability and a situation
where people can NOT tell someone has
bipolar disorder?<\/p>\n
