I actually have to make it kind of
quick. I snowed again last night
and I have to clean off my car
and head to the good old gym.<\/p>\n

I also have to go to the library\u2014I have
6 books that I MUST read by the end
of the day.<\/p>\n

Anyway, I wanted to jump into
something right now.<\/p>\n

I think I have found out what the
#1 bipolar killer is:<\/p>\n

I think it is IGNORANCE.<\/p>\n

Think about it.<\/p>\n

Webster\u2019s dictionary says that
the definition of ignorance is
\u201cbeing ignorant.\u201d And the
definition of ignorant is:<\/p>\n

\u201cdestitute of knowledge or
education.\u201d See that?<\/p>\n

Destitute means poor. Actually,
really poor. So someone who
is ignorant is \u201creally poor in
education or knowledge.\u201d<\/p>\n

I don\u2019t know about you, but
I always thought an ignorant
person was someone who was
just stupid.<\/p>\n

But now I realize how that\u2019s
just a really mean thing to think
about someone who is ignorant,
because it\u2019s not that they\u2019re stupid,
it\u2019s just that they DON\u201dT KNOW!<\/p>\n

Ignorance, by definition meaning,
NOT KNOWING, can lead to a
person not taking their medication
or the right medication because they
don\u2019t know what to tell their doctor.<\/p>\n

Ignorance can lead to a person committing
suicide because they DON\u201dT KNOW
what else to do!<\/p>\n

Let\u2019s think about that. Ignorance leads
to people NOT KNOWING what to do.<\/p>\n

Can you see how serious that can be
when you\u2019re dealing with bipolar
disorder?<\/p>\n

Now do you see why I\u2019m always
preaching about you getting as
much knowledge about the disorder
as you can? <\/p>\n

Why I\u2019m always telling you that
next to medication that knowledge
is the next important thing to
recovery from bipolar disorder?<\/p>\n

KNOWLEDGE IS POWER.<\/p>\n

It\u2019s true. The fastest route to the
life of stability is to gain knowledge.<\/p>\n

Knowledge is the opposite of
Ignorance.<\/p>\n

Which are you going to choose?<\/p>\n
