But<br \/>when he goes manic, man does he go<br \/>manic.<\/p>\n<p>Her husband punched her in the face<br \/>the night before.<\/p>\n<p>And that same day he threatened to kill<br \/>her.<\/p>\n<p>She was really afraid.<\/p>\n<p>I told her to call the police and to <br \/>get away and that he could do something<br \/>really bad because he is not in his right<br \/>mind. I warned her that until he was on<br \/>medication, her life was in danger.<\/p>\n<p>She said she didn&#8217;t know how serious<br \/>bipolar disorder was. She told me it was<br \/>only my site that she found that suggested<br \/>it was really seriously. She didn&#8217;t know<br \/>the importance of medication.<\/p>\n<p>When she asked someone in the hospital<br \/>how serious bipolar disorder was, she was<br \/>told not really that serious.<\/p>\n<p>Imagine that.<\/p>\n<p>Now that brings us to something\u2026<\/p>\n<p>You know, I have been asked over and<br \/>over and over again about some bipolar<br \/>conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Well, let me tell you about THE REAL<br \/>BIPOLAR CONSPIRACY.<\/p>\n<p>People ask me if drug companies are <br \/>trying to over medicate those people<br \/>with bipolar disorder. If it&#8217;s a sort of conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t believe this.<\/p>\n<p>I think the real conspiracy (if there is any)<br \/> is that very few people tell people with <br \/>bipolar disorder how serious the disorder is.<\/p>\n<p>All the people are told is that bipolar <br \/>disorder isn&#8217;t serious and you have to take<br \/> medication for the rest of your lives. <br \/>They aren&#8217;t told things like that you can <br \/>become homicidal or suicidal!<\/p>\n<p>I have spoken to doctors and therapists<br \/> that will not take a firm stance on<br \/>medication. They tell me, &#8220;you can&#8217;t<br \/> force anyone to do something.&#8221; I agree<br \/>but you should be firm.<\/p>\n<p> I will always tell people what they need<br \/> to hear not what they want to hear. Some<br \/> people with bipolar disorder want to hear<br \/> they don&#8217;t have to take medication but <br \/>they need to hear they have to take<br \/>medication.<\/p>\n<p>In my courses\/systems, too, I have been<br \/>told that I&#8217;m pretty straightforward, and<br \/>I don&#8217;t paint a pretty picture.  Again,<br \/>that&#8217;s because I tell people what they<br \/>need to hear and not what they want<br \/>to hear:<\/p>\n<p>SUPPORTING AN ADULT WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>Visit:<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11\">http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11<\/a><\/p>\n<p>SUPPORTING A CHILD\/TEEN WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>Visit:<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com\">http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>HAVE BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>Visit:<br \/><a href=\"http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net\">http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net<\/a><\/p>\n<p>So is it the drug companies that are <br \/>pushing people to take their medication?<br \/>Are they trying to over-medicate them?<br \/>Is there some kind of conspiracy?<\/p>\n<p>I don&#8217;t think so.<\/p>\n<p>Pharmaceutical manufacturers<br \/>(drug companies) are making<br \/>billions and billions of dollars a<br \/>year on selling bipolar medication<br \/>alone.  Why would they want to<br \/>jeopardize that?<\/p>\n<p>They have to answer to the FDA,<br \/>the watchtower groups such as<br \/>NIMH, NIH, consumer groups, etc.<br \/>who hold them accountable.<\/p>\n<p>What do they need with a couple<br \/>billion dollars more if it means <br \/>losing what they already have?  <br \/>They just aren&#8217;t going to do that <br \/>by some kind of bipolar medication<br \/> conspiracy \u2013 it just isn&#8217;t logical.<\/p>\n<p>Medication companies are very<br \/>closely watched.  They are always<br \/>in the news if they do even the<br \/>slightest thing wrong.<br \/>But the people who underestimate<br \/>bipolar disorder and how serious it<br \/>is, how it can make you homicidal or<br \/>suicidal, and who don&#8217;t tell people<br \/>who have it that information, there&#8217;s<br \/>no one watching those people!<\/p>\n<p>Those are the people who we should<br \/>be watching, not the drug companies.<br \/>The truth about bipolar disorder and<br \/>how important it really is to take your<br \/>medication  should be getting out more<br \/>than it is.<\/p>\n<p>If more people knew the real truth<br \/>about the disorder, more people would<br \/>be more careful about taking care of<br \/>themselves and their loved ones, instead<br \/>of worrying about some non-existent<br \/>drug conspiracy.<\/p>\n<p>Your friend,<\/p>\n<p>Dave<\/p>\n<p>===>> Great Resources For You <===\n\nGet Your Own Subscription To This Newsletter<br \/>Want your own copy of these daily bipolar<br \/>emails sent to you for F.ree?
