I wanted to tell you about a person who works for me. Her name is Michele. Now, Michele wasn’t always the stable person with bipolar disorder that she is now.<\/p>\n
Michele used to be:<\/p>\n
\u2022\tA drug addict and alcoholic<\/p>\n
\u2022\tA terrible mother<\/p>\n
\u2022\tMarried 5 times<\/p>\n
\u2022\tCouldn’t get any credit<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHad every car repossessed<\/p>\n
\u2022\tWas evicted from her house<\/p>\n
\u2022\tWas homeless<\/p>\n
\u2022\tCouldn’t have a checking account<\/p>\n
\u2022\tCouldn’t have a savings account<\/p>\n
\u2022\tMaxed out her credit cards<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHad creditors calling all the time<\/p>\n
(until her phone was cut off)<\/p>\n
\u2022\tWent from bipolar episode to bipolar<\/p>\n
episode with no medication<\/p>\n
Today she is:<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHappily married<\/p>\n
\u2022\tRestored her broken relationships with<\/p>\n
her family<\/p>\n
\u2022\tOff drugs and alcohol<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHas good relationship with her children<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHas good car<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHas beautiful home<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHas checking account<\/p>\n
\u2022\tPays all her bills every month<\/p>\n
\u2022\tBipolar is stable and she is on medication<\/p>\n
\u2022\tHas great job (working for me)<\/p>\n
Michele actually even has a c.redit card from my company to make business purchases.<\/p>\n
What makes the difference? The difference is having a plan. A system. But how do you explain about someone who suffered so much over so many years who now is married for awhile, stable,<\/p>\n
good with money, etc.? You heard that bipolar disorder gets worse with age, right? Then why is it that so many people with the disorder who work for me, it has actually gotten BETTER with age? It seems to be the opposite of what has been predicted. It’s because they have a plan. They have systems in place.<\/p>\n
Just because you’ve got bipolar disorder doesn’t mean you have to stay at home all the time and hide under your covers letting your supporter do everything for you!<\/p>\n
These people who work for me have proven that. And Michele has proven that! Look where she came from, and look where she is today! Because she has a plan. She has a system.<\/p>\n
What makes the difference? I think it is having that plan and that system. Even if you don’t have<\/p>\n
bipolar disorder, you can still have a plan and a system. It will set you apart.<\/p>\n
You will get more things done. You will be more productive. You will not panic when other people do. You will have less stress. You will have more money.<\/p>\n
See what I mean? That’s what makes the difference.<\/p>\n
