Hope you’re doing ok.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I was talking to this friend who was is a professional complainer. Unfortunately in mental health, there’s a lot of professional complainers. That’s why it’s my job to get these people more positive.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It’s odd in the last week, I have heard many people complaining about so many things that make no sense to me. <\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

If you find yourself complaining a lot, seriously you have to look in the mirror and ask, “what can I do to make things better.” <\/span>People get super mad when you say that to them because complaining people want you to go along with their complaints.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

I always focus on the solution not the problem.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Okay, well, we have a new president.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It doesn’t matter who you voted for, or whether your candidate won or lost.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The fact remains, we still have a new president.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But some people are still complaining about the fact that Obama won! <\/span><\/span>Now, how productive is that?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Seems like some people will complain about anything, no matter what.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But here’s another fact \u2013<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Anybody can be president \u2013 even YOU!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IF\u2026 they want to.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IF\u2026 they follow the right path.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IF\u2026 they meet the requirements.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IF\u2026 they campaign for it.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IF\u2026 they are voted into office.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

The fact remains, though\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

It IS possible!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Why, anyone can be a great pianist, too!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Like the old joke:<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“How do you get to Carnegie Hall?”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

“Practice, practice, practice!”<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

But it’s not really a joke.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

You can be a great pianist IF you’re willing to do what it takes to be a great pianist.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So, just like being president, IF you want to be a great pianist, it IS possible!<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

IF you want to\u2026<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

And IF you do certain things.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Now, in my courses\/systems, I teach that stability is possible, too, IF you do certain things.<\/span><\/p>\n

A ballerina?<\/span><\/p>\n

A great writer?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

An actor?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then why aren’t you one of those things now?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Because you didn’t do what it took to become it.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Whatever you want to be, you have to do certain things.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

So now let me ask you this:<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Do you want to be stable with your bipolar disorder?<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

Then you need to do certain things, just like Obama did to become president.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to learn about the disorder.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to take your medication.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to see your doctor.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to see a therapist.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to have a support system.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to get good sleep.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to eat a good diet.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You <\/span>have to exercise.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to be productive.<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>You have to have a positive attitude<\/span><\/p>\n

\u00b7<\/span> <\/span><\/span>And other things.<\/span><\/p>\n

<\/span><\/span><\/p>\n

In other words, you have to learn how to manage your bipolar disorder.<\/span><\/p>\n
