I had to go to the gym this morning because it closes early.<\/p>\n<p>How are you doing today?<\/p>\n<p>I hope you&#8217;re doing well.<\/p>\n<p>Let me ask you something:<\/p>\n<p>Have you ever watched two people playing a game of chess?<\/p>\n<p>They&#8217;re so serious.<\/p>\n<p>Each move is precise.<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s because each move determines the outcome.<\/p>\n<p>Just one move can mean the difference between winning or losing the game.<\/p>\n<p>Coping and dealing with bipolar disorder is like that.<\/p>\n<p>Oh, not that it&#8217;s a game by any means.<\/p>\n<p>More like a war.<\/p>\n<p>And a war is made up of battles.<\/p>\n<p>Each battle is precisely planned.<\/p>\n<p>It&#8217;s called STRATEGY.<\/p>\n<p>Your strategy, too, determines the outcome, whether it&#8217;s a game of chess or a war.<\/p>\n<p>Or your battle with bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n<p>In my courses\/systems, I discuss the fact that you need to develop strategies in order to control bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n<p>SUPPORTING AN ADULT WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<\/p>\n<p>Visit:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11\">http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11<\/a><\/p>\n<p>SUPPORTING A CHILD\/TEEN WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<\/p>\n<p>Visit:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com\">http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>HAVE BIPOLAR DISORDER?<\/p>\n<p>Visit:<\/p>\n<p><a href=\"http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net\">http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net<\/a><\/p>\n<p>And these strategies determine the outcome of your battle.<\/p>\n<p>If you went into a chess game without any strategy, you will lose the game, because I guarantee you that your opponent will be using strategy against you.<\/p>\n<p>If you went into a war without any strategy, you would lose that war, because I guarantee you that your enemy will be using strategy against you.<\/p>\n<p>And if you&#8217;re trying to cope and deal with bipolar disorder without a strategy, you will lose as well.<\/p>\n<p>Stability is all about carefully planned moves.<\/p>\n<p>And your strategy will determine the outcome.<\/p>\n<p>The war against bipolar disorder is a war that you CAN win, though.<\/p>\n<p>I know, because my mom has.<\/p>\n<p>And I have scores of testimonials from others who have done it as well.<\/p>\n<p>I helped my mom develop her strategies, made up of planning and systems.<\/p>\n<p>And each move she makes determines the outcome \u2013 her stability.<\/p>\n<p>As long as she follows the plans, systems, and strategies, she stays stable.<\/p>\n<p>Which she has now, for a long time.<\/p>\n<p>Some of her strategies are:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tgetting good sleep<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\teating right<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\ttaking her medications<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tfollowing a routine<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tseeing her doctors and therapist<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tavoiding her bipolar triggers<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\twatching for signs\/symptoms<\/p>\n<p>of an impending episode<\/p>\n<p>Some supporter strategies would include:<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tmaking sure your loved one<\/p>\n<p>takes their medication<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tgood communication with your<\/p>\n<p>loved one<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tbeing supportive and understanding<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tkeeping a safe, peaceful home<\/p>\n<p>environment for your loved one<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tavoiding your loved one&#8217;s triggers<\/p>\n<p>(and helping them to avoid them)<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\twatching for signs\/symptoms of an<\/p>\n<p>oncoming episode<\/p>\n<p>\u2022\tplanning in advance what to do if<\/p>\n<p>they need to go to the hospital<\/p>\n<p>And remembering that the enemy is NOT your loved one \u2013 it&#8217;s their bipolar disorder.<\/p>\n<p>You may still lose some battles with bipolar disorder \u2013 your loved one may still have setbacks and episodes \u2013 but with good strategy, you WILL win the war!<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,<\/p>\n<p>Sorry for the delay.
