Hi,<\/p>\n

How’s it going today?<\/p>\n

I need to tell you this story about something that happened to me.<\/p>\n

This organization is getting very big.<\/p>\n

But it isn’t like one of those big corporations that is out to make a lot of money and make people rich.<\/p>\n

Like, I don’t even get a salary from it! Honest!<\/p>\n

The main thing about this organization is that our motto is to help people with bipolar disorder and their supporters.<\/p>\n

That’s what this organization is all about.<\/p>\n

And I always hope that that is what we do.<\/p>\n

Always.<\/p>\n

That’s why I hire the people that I hire…<\/p>\n

Because they believe in our motto as well.<\/p>\n

And that’s part of what makes them good at what they do.<\/p>\n

That’s also why I have so many people who work for me who have bipolar disorder themselves.<\/p>\n

Because they understand the disorder better than anyone else.<\/p>\n

Well, you would NOT believe what happened to me in the last month.<\/p>\n

\nOk, here’s what happened:
\nI GOT CONNED!<\/p>\n

Not just by ONE person…<\/p>\n

But by THREE people!<\/p>\n

And not just three people over time…<\/p>\n

But by three people over the last month!<\/p>\n

See, part of the down side of this organization is that you trust people, because you think that everyone else believes in the same cause, of helping people.<\/p>\n

Unfortunately, some people are just out for the money, and I guess they see me as an easy target…<\/p>\n

Because that’s exactly what happened.<\/p>\n

These were companies that were supposed to be helping this organization.<\/p>\n

Instead, I got conned.<\/p>\n

I just can’t believe that there are people out there like this.<\/p>\n

But I guess there are.<\/p>\n

Hopefully, I learned my lesson, and it won’t happen again.<\/p>\n

But here’s the thing…<\/p>\n

The difference between these people and someone with bipolar disorder is…<\/p>\n

That someone in a bipolar episode 99% of the time does NOT do it on purpose, where these people did.<\/p>\n

If you think your loved one has lied to you…<\/p>\n

Or kept something from you…<\/p>\n

Or manipulated you…<\/p>\n

Chances are, they were in an episode, and didn’t know what they were doing.<\/p>\n

So they didn’t do it on purpose.<\/p>\n

They didn’t mean to hurt you.<\/p>\n

They weren’t exactly in their right mind.<\/p>\n

That might help you to separate them from their disorder.<\/p>\n

And help you to believe that they are really telling the truth when they say that they never meant to hurt you with their behavior…<\/p>\n

Or that they didn’t mean to do any of those things…<\/p>\n

Or that they didn’t do it on purpose.<\/p>\n
