Who&#8217;s Responsible \u2013 You or Them?"},"content":{"rendered":"<p>Hi,<\/p>\n<p>I hope your day is going well.<\/p>\n<p>Today I want to talk about responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>For example, these days a lot of people who got bad mortgages blame the people who sold them.<\/p>\n<p>The people who sold them, blame the people who got them.<\/p>\n<p>Same thing with cars.<\/p>\n<p>The people who buy them from a used car lot and then something goes wrong with the car, blame the people who sold it to them.<\/p>\n<p>The people who sold it to them say they sold the car &#8220;as is,&#8221; and blame the people who bought<br \/>\nit.<\/p>\n<p>Well, I see this in bipolar disorder too.<\/p>\n<p>The people with bipolar disorder go off their medication.<\/p>\n<p>Then they go into an episode.<\/p>\n<p>So they blame the doctor for not telling them what would happen if they go off their medication.<\/p>\n<p>The doctor blames them for not getting the right information to tell them what would happen if<br \/>\nthey go off their medication.<\/p>\n<p>Or they go into an episode and they blame their therapist for not treating them good enough.<\/p>\n<p>The therapist blames them for not trying hard enough in therapy.<\/p>\n<p>They blame the psychiatrist for not stopping the episode before it happened.<\/p>\n<p>The psychiatrist blames them for not telling him that they were thinking they might be going into<br \/>\nan episode.<\/p>\n<p>They blame their support group for not being there for them.<\/p>\n<p>The support group blames them for not participating enough.<\/p>\n<p>They blame their supporter for not noticing soon enough.<\/p>\n<p>The supporter blames them for not listening when they told them that they noticed the signs of an impending episode.<\/p>\n<p>The list goes on and on&#8230;<\/p>\n<p>And who is really to blame?<\/p>\n<p>Who didn&#8217;t take responsibility?<\/p>\n<p>That&#8217;s one of the things I talk about in my courses and systems:  What is the person&#8217;s responsibility, and what is the supporter&#8217;s responsibility.<\/p>\n<p>NEW<br \/>\nLEARN THE SECRETS OF THE MOST SUCCESSFUL WITH<br \/>\nBIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/bipolarmastersystem\/\">http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/bipolarmastersystem\/<\/a><br \/>\nSUPPORTING AN ADULT WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\nVisit:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11\">http:\/\/www.bipolarsupporter.com\/report11<\/a><\/p>\n<p>SUPPORTING A CHILD\/TEEN WITH BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\nVisit:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com\">http:\/\/www.bipolarparenting.com<\/a><\/p>\n<p>HAVE BIPOLAR DISORDER?<br \/>\nVisit:<br \/>\n<a href=\"http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net\">http:\/\/www.survivebipolar.net<\/a><br \/>\nIn the examples I used above, whose fault is it that the person went off their medication?
